Just 7 km from the ZEM Wellness Clinic Altea is the Finca Althaya, an organically farmed vegetable garden covering more than 75,000 m2 from which all the fresh produce used in the SALVIA restaurant comes.

Finca Althaya, only a few kilometres from ZEM Wellness Clinic Altea, is the green heart that feeds the heart of the Salvia restaurant. Spanning a generous 75,000m2 of land, this estate is devoted to organically producing more than 60 varieties of fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs. Cultivated using sustainable and environmentally friendly farming techniques, these crops guarantee the freshness and highest nutritional value of each ingredient.

At Finca Althaya, we prioritise agricultural practices that favour biodiversity and promote the health of the soil, avoiding the use of pesticides or synthetic chemicals. This ensures that the produce is not only fresh, but also free of toxins and rich in flavour.

The fruits and vegetables grown here travel directly from the farm to Salvia’s kitchen, where our chefs craft them into vibrant, wholesome dishes that capture the essence of the Mediterranean and ZEM’s holistic wellness philosophy.

In addition to supplying the restaurant, Finca Althaya acts as a symbol of ZEM Wellness Clinic Altea’s commitment to sustainability and conscious eating, offering guests a direct connection to the land and the natural cycles that nurture their wellbeing.

Activate your senses

Some outdoor activities take place at the Finca at different times of the day.

Morning walks to connect with nature are offered to all guests before breakfast and encourage an awakening of the senses among fruit trees and native vegetation. Two 45-minute walks have been programmed, one of less intensity inside the Finca, and one of more intensity, outside, following the path that goes into the Bernia mountain range.

Throughout the day there will also be activities and workshops organised as part of ZEM College, including the collection of seasonal fruit and vegetables for the subsequent preparation of recipes at ZEM Culinary.
