Located at the foot of the Sierra de Bernia mountain range, overlooking the Mediterranean, this 40,000 m2 universe offers 95 luxury suites conceived to inspire peace and disconnection. At ZEM Hotel, every element has been exquisitely crafted to deliver a unique experience in an atmosphere of serenity, sustainability and Mediterranean beauty.

Lobby

Presiding over the entrance is the spectacular marble mosaic with over 35,000 marble pieces laid one by one by hand. The spacious lounges enjoy an abundance of natural Mediterranean light and are beautifully decorated with handcrafted furniture. The carpets and wallpaper were exclusively designed for the hotel.

ZEM Lounge

ZEM Lounge is a recreation and relaxation area elegantly furnished with comfortable armchairs, designed to enhance the guest’s experience of reading, appreciating the views through its expansive windows, or sunbathing on its outdoor terrace. From ZEM Lounge, guests also have access to Entertain ZEM, a private cinema room with a capacity for 17 individuals, equipped with a large screen and ergonomically designed reclining seats to ensure maximum comfort for viewers.

Patio de los Naranjos

The Mediterranean in all its essence permeates every corner of the ZEM Wellness Clinic Altea and both its interior and exterior patios are testament to this. Areas conceived for relaxing walks, to disconnect, meditate and reconnect with oneself. Spaces where the native vegetation displays all its beauty, and the traces of ancient cultures can still be felt. The orange tree patio evokes the Arab influence of the peninsula and is reminiscent of the Alhambra palace’s breathtaking architecture.

SALVIA Restaurant

Salvia Restaurant is a large and bright space imbued with the class and sophistication of its menus, which are inspired by the Mediterranean Diet. A place to connect with the colourful flavours of the dishes prepared by the Chef and his team, either inside or on its extensive terrace.

Indoor areas

The large lounges and areas become a magnificent space for relaxation and disconnection, bathed in abundant natural light from the Mediterranean. They feature bespoke furniture designs, exclusive rugs, and wallpaper made specifically for the hotel. It is a place where guests can retreat to read, work, or reflect on life.

Swimming pools

Enter a spacious area of the Hotel with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. With a carefully designed layout, this outdoor area features 3 swimming pools, each with a specific purpose: an open-air Spa circuit, another for supervised group classes and a third for free swimming. All 3 are heated and are surrounded by comfortable resting areas for a truly relaxing experience.

Our own sustainable oasis where fruits, vegetables and greens grow under the sun and the gentle Mediterranean breeze. 75,000 m² of organic agriculture become the great larder that feeds the ZEM Wellness Clinic Altea’s kitchens.

An exclusive restaurant whose décor invites you to enjoy an innovative cuisine prepared with an organic and seasonal approach, based on local Km 0 products. Mediterranean-inspired cuisine that combines functionality with tradition for a gastronomic experience that goes beyond the senses.

ZEM CULINARY

A space devoted to learning and enjoyment for guests, where they can learn delicious and healthy recipes in private or group cooking workshops where guests can learn how to cook and improve their eating habits.
