Its purpose is to control and manage body weight consciously and comprehensively. The programme is designed to reduce the guest’s body weight while developing a series of skills and healthy habits to ensure that the results achieved are maintained in the long term.

Methodology

The ZEM Weight Management programme provides the guest with a set of strategies and medical guidelines to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. The program focuses on striking the right balance between the energy ingested through food intake and the energy invested in daily activities.

The goals are set through a thorough initial assessment, which includes a detailed analysis of the guest’s eating habits, level of physical activity and body composition. Ongoing supervision by our multidisciplinary medical team of doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, therapists and personal trainers ensures a safe and inspiring approach to the program to ensure long-term, sustainable results.

Nutrition is a key component of the programme. The Mediterranean Diet takes centre stage thanks to the organic and Km 0 products grown exclusively by our team at Finca Althaya. The programme is completed with treatments such as the bathtub Detox cure, pressotherapy or indiba body sessions, all of which are combined with a specific physical exercise programme tailored to each guest, supervised at all times by a personal trainer.

The Nutritional Plan of the Weight Management programme is the Detox plan.

The main purpose of this nutritional therapeutic plan is to restore the body’s balance from the multiple strain that the body faces on a daily basis. One of its objectives is to strike a balance between preventing a number of weight-related pathologies or chronic inflammation and controlling body weight.

The programme follows the principles of the body’s physiological purification, by using a range of detoxification pathways such as hepatic, intestinal and kidney detoxification. Its nutritional plan will be made up of a combination of seasonal vegetables, seeds, ferments, gluten-free cereals and certain natural supplements.
