Ingredients of the Mediterranean Diet

Some of its distinguishing features are the use of olive oil as the primary ingredient, and its high consumption of legumes, unrefined cereals (including traditional bread), fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
Additionally, this is also complemented by a low consumption of meat and its by-products, along with moderate intake of dairy products
